CONFERENCE DESCRIPTION

Our Summer Conference on Primary Care Medicine is designed to provide physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants with information on current primary care issues, as well as offer practical management techniques that can be applied immediately in your practice.

The goal of this conference is to provide a comprehensive update and review on current issues in primary care. Emphasis will be placed on practical application of evidence-based presentations. In addition to didactic lectures, ample time has been allotted for participant feedback and interaction.

Topics in this year's conference have been selected based on extensive target audience needs assessment data, including clinical expert input, online needs assessment survey, clinical guidelines and past participant stated needs.

An outstanding, multidisciplinary faculty has been assembled for this conference. Faculty members were selected based on their individual area of expertise, for their willingness to address issues of current concern, and for their accessibility to participants.

Morning sessions and one afternoon session leave ample time for exploring Napa Valley. We have also arranged a variety of group tours that allow for enjoyment of the area, as well as continued discussion relating to the conference topics.
