CONFERENCE DESCRIPTION

Our 28th Annual Fall Conference on Obstetrics is designed to provide physicians, physician assistants and nurses involved in obstetrics with the most current clinical information covering the care of the pregnant patient. Current data on key issues in management of these patients will be presented.

The goal of this conference is to provide a comprehensive update and review on current issues in obstetrics. Emphasis will be placed on practical application of evidence-based presentations. In addition to didactic lectures, ample time has been allotted for participant feedback and interaction.

Topics in this year's conference have been selected based on extensive target audience needs assessment data, including clinical expert input, clinical guidelines in obstetrics, online needs assessment survey, and past participant stated needs.

An outstanding faculty has been selected based on their individual areas of expertise, their ability to communicate practical, evidence-based knowledge to others, their commitment to address issues of current concern, and their willingness to interact with participants.

Morning sessions and one afternoon session leave ample time for relaxing, enjoying family and friends, and exploring the beautiful island of St. Thomas.
